At the end of the harvest season in 2025, as temperatures cooled and sunlight waned, there were still vines lining the polytunnels at Cinderwood filled with green tomatoes that would never ripen. Inspired by green tomato chutney, chutney being derived from the Hindi word chatni, meaning to preserve, we adapted our processes to capture and showcase the vibrant flavour still remaining in these end of season green tomatoes.

Aromatically, you'll find savoury, sharp, almost citric tang. On the palate There's umami and subtle salinity that melds wonderfully with the acidity and fruity funk of the beer. The finish is deep and satisfyingly complex.
